Hi Sian, Just a quick email to say thank you so much to all the team at CoB who looked after us yesterday. Lydia and her team could not be more attentive and they couldn’t do enough for us – it made for a brilliant day and every one remarked what a fantastic place it was and what a superb “find” it was.
We were also very lucky with the weather, having a perfect autumnal day, allowing us all to sit out in the sunshine before the meal, and in between the meal and the evening gathering. We were very fortunate.
Also, please will you pass on our thanks to the Chef and his team – the food was faultless and absolutely amazing both during the day and in the evening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, and again everyone was very complimentary, and the service was fantastic. The full English breakfast the next day was also superb. We all went home stuffed!!!
We will definitely be returning to celebrate our first anniversary next year – if not before!
We couldn’t have held our wedding in a better location – and your private room – with our small party on one large square table was genius!

Myself and John just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for making our wedding day so perfect. We are enjoying our honeymoon and still keep reliving our fabulous wedding day. The venue was amazing, decorations looked wonderful and the bedrooms were so lovely and comfy.
Both of you and all of your staff at COB made sure our day ran smoothly, which it did indeed. Even the weather held up until the evening. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful venue and delicious food. They couldn't get over how much tasty food there was and loved our alternative canapés and BBQ. Myself and John barely ate anything on the day and regretted it the following day. So we will definitely be back soon for the amazing food.
Your recommendation of the dj from Indemand was fantastic as he played the music that we wanted and added additional uplighting to highlight the wonderful venue. He even caught photos of the night and gave them to us on cd which I thought was a lovely touch. Your staff were captured on film dancing away which showed that they love their job. Nothing was ever too much for them and they were so accommodating. Please pass on our sincere thanks.
We are so happy that my mum told us about your beautiful venue and we can't thank you enough for making our wedding the best day ever.
My family loved how the bedrooms were all together and we could gather on the courtyard. They are already planning on staying at COB next year for our 1 year anniversary! Haha!

Sally and me have returned from our honeymoon after a fantastic time and wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you for everything in making our wedding perfect!! It was an amazing day and everything ran as planned. The venue itself is fantastic and all the staff were very attentive especially Jane who looked after us throughout the day. I really could not have wished for better people or a nicer venue and would recommend you to anybody.
It was lovely to meet you and it was a pleasure dealing with you throughout the planning stages.
Hopefully we will see you again when we visit the Cock O' Barton.

Just want to say a massive thank you to both of you and the whole team at COB. We really can't thank you all enough for making our day so perfect.
All of our guests were very complementary of the venue as it is so amazing anyway and it looked beautiful just as we'd imagined so thank you for putting so much care into the decoration.
Also the food was absolutely amazing, again all of the guests were very impressed by the food. I can't wait to come back for a meal and stay over, the bedrooms are beautiful!
Everyone should have their wedding at COB, we really couldn't have asked for a better place to have ours!

It is a beautiful venue to get married in and we had the marquee for the wedding breakfast which was also lovely. In particular we would like to thank Alethea and Sian for helping us to organise the wedding and for all the correspondence and assistance in the run up to the big day, Sian and Lindsey for helping on the day itself and ensuring things ran smoothly, and Caroline for making sure the Prosecco was flowing and the guests were kept happy in the evening! All the way along we were made to feel welcome and comfortable and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was fantastic as expected - we had lots of positive comments from guests about the wedding breakfast and the evening food. Thank you to all the staff who put such hard work and effort into making the food so delicious! Also, the bedrooms are superb and we had lots of nice comments about them as well. So thanks to all in the team who had a hand in making our day so lovely and memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cock O' Barton as a wedding venue in future.

We would like to thank all of the amazing staff at the Cock O Barton for what truely was the most magical and memorable day our lives. From planning, all the way through to the actual day everything went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for Alethea and her team. The venue was simply stunning and our guests continue to give rave reviews about COB as a unique, quirky country venue. Our wedding breakfast also received high praise as well as the staff who were attentive, caring and enabled the day to run without a hitch. We feel the COB has the full package as a wedding venue and the picturesque surroundings create perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We could not recommend COB enough to any one searching for the perfect wedding venue.

Alethea and the team out did themselves, from the day we first approached you about having our wedding at the COB, the planning could not have been easier. You made the whole process very relaxed and the day itself lived up to our expectations and certainly surprised our guests. The venue looked unique and intimate which was what we were hoping for. The staff were calming and in control and could not do enough for us.
Our rooms were lovely and a nice place to escape to at the end of the night.
We can't thank you enough for everything you did to bring our special day life.

Firstly thanks to Alethea, we met several times and had many emails back and forth as I had lots of questions! Nothing was too much trouble. We asked for a couple of things out the ordinary for our wedding day and Alethea sorted them out with no hesitation. Alethea made us feel really relaxed throughout the whole planning stage.
We had the marquee which was great! It was so flexible as we could decorate how we wanted and were able to do so the day before.
On the big day the staff could not have looked after us any better. They were attentive, polite and did everything with a smile. The staff really did make our day extra special as nothing was too much trouble. Many of our guests have also commented to me about how amazing the venue, staff, food and atmosphere was.
We genuinely had THE BEST DAY, everything went to plan and I can't thank the staff enough.

I absolutely loved our time at COB on Friday! Cannot thank you guys enough and were literally gutted its over!
You did an amazing job finding homes for all the decorations and so chuffed how the marquee came together with the lights and flowers. I was blown away, it looked absolutely gorgeous!
Well done for assembling the cake-hope it wasn't too stressful!
All the food was on point. Lots of compliments on the wine and the venue generally. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. All the staff were so helpful and really lovely and it didnt go unnoticed.
Thanks for the Ashmore Acoustics recommendation-what lovely guys! We had so much fun with them and danced until the end!
Rooms were all superb-it was brilliant location wise for putting our son to bed and leaving him in the care of the babysitter while we could all enjoy some off-duty time!
All in all thank you for making our wedding the best day it could be!
