Long time no speak, I am so sorry that it has taken me over a month to write this email that is very rude of me. It has however taken us nearly a month to come down from the best day we have ever had! I can not thank you enough for everything you and the whole team did in preparation and on the actual day. It ran without a hitch and you completely thought of everything, the staff that worked on the day and throughout the night were friendly, helpful and the ones I chatted to seemed to have actually enjoyed it. Everyone I have spoken to since the wedding has commented on the venue saying it was perfect and the atmosphere was just right so I just wanted to let you know that you, Jane, Lindsey, Johnny, Becca and everyone else involved in the day made it 100% special and we could not have been happier. Please pass on our thanks to everyone, including the kitchen as the food was incredible!
I have personally recommended you to everyone I have spoken to since the wedding, I want to sing your praises as loud as possible. I am sure our paths will cross again,

Good morning Sian, Alethea, Jane and the amazing COB team,
We just want to say a huge thank you for everything, our wedding was everything and more than we could have ever imagined, everything was just perfect, all our guest couldn't believe how beautifull the place looked, my decorations were placed perfectly, I really wouldn't have known where to start.
The food was amazing as we expected, everybody loved it, I had said from the start I didn't want anyone to be hungry at my wedding and you didn't disappoint, our gluten free guests came to me on the day telling me how well they had been looked after, thank you so so much for that.
We both want to say a huge thank you and keep up the amazing work you do.

Hi Alethea & all the team,
Sorry it’s taken us so long to send you an email , we can’t believe it’s been 10+ weeks since our wedding we have been so busy since then. We went straight on honeymoon and then straight back to work.
We just wanted to both say thank you very much to every single person who made our wedding day the best day of our lives.
Every single member of staff was smiley, helpful and nothing was too much trouble on the day. A lot of our guests commented on how fantastic all the staff working were. We also had endless compliments about the food especially the evening fish and chips... unfortunately I can’t comment I was far too busy enjoying the dance floor & the G&T’s ha ha.
The Cock O' Barton is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue and the way it was decorated on the day of our wedding was everything and far more than I ever wanted/had visions of. We can’t recommend the venue enough to our friends and family for future weddings.
A huge thank you to Alethea for being so fab from the minute we booked right up until the end! You are blummin marvellous and I couldn’t have done it without you, you made the whole process very smooth and completely stress free! Exactly how I feel a wedding should be...
We both really appreciated you giving me your mobile number to text any last minutes queries we had, you went above and beyond!

What can we say, the Cock O Barton was a great venue to get married, 110 guests with everything falling into place. Alethea was awesome and helped with all the planning of our special day and took the stress from us and made things work as we wanted. The service and attention to detail that was provided on our big day was second to non. Jane is a great master of ceremonies and helped everyone through the day. The food was exceptional and all the guest commented on how attentive all the staff where. We would highly recommend new Brides & Grooms to plan their special day at the Cock O Barton. We loved our day and have great memories of our wedding.

Hazel and I got married at the COB last weekend and had the most amazing day. The venue looked amazing, the food incredible and the staff simply couldn’t do enough for us. We need to thank Alethea, Sian, Rachel and the whole team for making the day so special for us. Thank you so much x

Hi Alethea, Just a quick email to thank you and the rest of the team for such a magical wedding day!
Special thanks to you for all the help with the planning from day one to the execution on the day. You truly were a god send for us and nothing was ever too much trouble. I really can not thank you enough, I’m such a control freak but you made me feel very much at ease in handing over.
We have to say a special thanks to Rachel and Dave. They were amazing and again nothing too much trouble. You are very lucky to have them on your team and I really don’t think the day would have been the same without them. From the meal the night before, to a few morning stressful situations to making everyone feel so welcome and relaxed for the rest of the day and evening.
The rooms were great and the venue set up looked amazing!
We could not have picked a better venue to hold our day. It was absolutely perfect and we only have you and the team to thank for that.

Hi Sian, Just a quick email to say thank you so much to all the team at CoB who looked after us yesterday. Lydia and her team could not be more attentive and they couldn’t do enough for us – it made for a brilliant day and every one remarked what a fantastic place it was and what a superb “find” it was.
We were also very lucky with the weather, having a perfect autumnal day, allowing us all to sit out in the sunshine before the meal, and in between the meal and the evening gathering. We were very fortunate.
Also, please will you pass on our thanks to the Chef and his team – the food was faultless and absolutely amazing both during the day and in the evening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, and again everyone was very complimentary, and the service was fantastic. The full English breakfast the next day was also superb. We all went home stuffed!!!
We will definitely be returning to celebrate our first anniversary next year – if not before!
We couldn’t have held our wedding in a better location – and your private room – with our small party on one large square table was genius!
Once again, thank you so much for making our day so very very special.

Myself and John just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for making our wedding day so perfect. We are enjoying our honeymoon and still keep reliving our fabulous wedding day. The venue was amazing, decorations looked wonderful and the bedrooms were so lovely and comfy.
Both of you and all of your staff at COB made sure our day ran smoothly, which it did indeed. Even the weather held up until the evening. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful venue and delicious food. They couldn't get over how much tasty food there was and loved our alternative canapés and BBQ. Myself and John barely ate anything on the day and regretted it the following day. So we will definitely be back soon for the amazing food.
Your recommendation of the dj from Indemand was fantastic as he played the music that we wanted and added additional uplighting to highlight the wonderful venue. He even caught photos of the night and gave them to us on cd which I thought was a lovely touch. Your staff were captured on film dancing away which showed that they love their job. Nothing was ever too much for them and they were so accommodating. Please pass on our sincere thanks.
We are so happy that my mum told us about your beautiful venue and we can't thank you enough for making our wedding the best day ever.
My family loved how the bedrooms were all together and we could gather on the courtyard. They are already planning on staying at COB next year for our 1 year anniversary! Haha!

Sally and me have returned from our honeymoon after a fantastic time and wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you for everything in making our wedding perfect!! It was an amazing day and everything ran as planned. The venue itself is fantastic and all the staff were very attentive especially Jane who looked after us throughout the day. I really could not have wished for better people or a nicer venue and would recommend you to anybody.
It was lovely to meet you and it was a pleasure dealing with you throughout the planning stages.
Hopefully we will see you again when we visit the Cock O' Barton.
