Cheshire West and Chester Council has approved the Cock O' Barton to be regularly used as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages by civil ceremony under the provisions of Section 46A and 46B of the Marriage Act 1949 and for Civil Partnerships under Section 6A of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
